When you compare the filtration ability of microglass media filters vs. cellulose media filters, microglass offers a higher efficiency, higher dirt holding lower presser drop & longer service life. Microglass media filters are also unaffected by the presence of moisture in the fluid. Another advantage is that the microglass glass media is supported by an epoxy coated CS mesh that provides for excellent pleat stability at higher flows & pressure differentials. Great for cold start conditions as well.
